Things I'd like to achieve in 2019

The New Year is among us!

Here is a list of 40 things I’d like to have accomplished or worked towards in 2019, and 10 things I’d like to carry on doing. I wouldn’t call them resolutions, but just some things that I believe would help me to become a better & more happy me. Some are for self-care, some are to push my boundaries, some are for a happier life, and some are for my overall health. All together I believe they are all achievable throughout the year. Some may be from a bucket list (if I had one) but the idea of a bucket list makes it seem unachievable and not really considered again after being created.

If you spot something on this list you would also like to achieve in the new year, than feel free to use this list for yourself, I think it’s great to have a list down to look back on in a years time and see what’s been achieved, or if not, what can be worked on in the new year.

Things to do in 2019

  1. Travel to a new continent I haven’t been to before.

  2. Do something adventurous (adrenaline junkie style).

  3. Get a new job doing something I really enjoy.

  4. See some amazing fireworks.

  5. Build up my health and fitness.

  6. Take part in a charity run.

  7. See a therapist for at least one appointment.

  8. Take care of myself mentally and physically.

  9. Decorate my room - finally.

  10. Go on a nice holiday with friends.

  11. Visit somewhere I haven’t before.

  12. Do some volunteer work.

  13. Travel somewhere exotic (blue water vibes).

  14. Organise my room (minimalist).

  15. Work on my self-confidence.

  16. Produce some more beauty content, such as videos, tutorials, something new I haven’t before.

  17. Get ahead with my posts (posts ready in advance).

  18. Say yes to more things.

  19. Take care of my health.

  20. Make the most of alone time.

  21. Push myself to leave my confidence zone from time to time.

  22. Take a class in something I’d like to learn.

  23. Do an activity alone (whether that be to learn something new, or learn a new skill).

  24. Become a brand ambassador for a brand I love/use.

  25. Hit 1,000 followers on my Instagram.

  26. Enjoy other forms of creativity this year (painting, writing, art etc.).

  27. Take more photos for myself and not just to post.

  28. Organise a photoshoot and plan it all myself.

  29. Get in front of the camera for once and embrace it.

  30. Buy myself something from my dream item list.

  31. Do something spontaneous.

  32. Fix my sleeping pattern and commit.

  33. Work on improving my positive mindset and getting rid of negative thinking.

  34. Start a business with my ideas.

  35. Produce something with my ideas.

  36. Stop caring what people think of me.

  37. Don’t let issues get you down/affect you negatively.

  38. Let go of worries and stress.

  39. Go to a spa weekend and relax.

  40. Reduce my use of my phone when I’m bored, do something productive instead.

What I should continue doing in 2019

  1. Trying new makeup looks.

  2. Keep doing things that make me happy.

  3. Making new friends.

  4. Only posting quality over quantity.

  5. Working hard.

  6. Learn more in general.

  7. Setting myself goals.

  8. Creating to-do lists from day to day.

  9. Being helpful and kind.

  10. Putting myself out there.
